Cristian Mos was born in 1977, in Oradea, Romania. He is a dentistry graduate, though he never practiced. A few years ago he became interested in photography and soon after he started photographing, taking pictures only in his hometown, with the intention of putting together a portfolio. He never worked as a photographer.
I took these pictures between 2009 and 2011, in Oradea, Romania. With about two hundred thousand inhabitants and nothing particular to mention about it, the town could be considered an average one. Throughout this time I went to photograph at various public events that take place during summer and autumn weekends: fairs and festivals organized by the town council, with free concerts and amusement parks, beer festivals, agricultural fairs, and a few other small events for the entertainment of the masses.
