Paul Costelloe’s collection was inspired by the movie ” Whatever Happened to Baby Jane” starring Bette Davis. It is an innocent yet dangerous, one can say, showcase with a soft colour palette. The neutral tones emphasized the 1970’s Paris-inspired silhouettes.
Clean cuts yet with a sense of sophistication and differentiation. The flowy silhouettes were not absent from the show and did not lack any of the sensuality that described the rest of Paul Costelloe’s pieces.
In simple words; the SS12 collection was characterized mostly by simple shapes but with detailed trimmings.
