“From These Hands, A Journey Along the Coffee Trail”
Last week We have been to Venice, where few days ago there was the opening for the new exhibition of Steve McCurry, one of the most important contemporary photographers and member of the Magnum Agency. 62 photos that are showing “A journey along the coffee trail”, that’s also the title of the exhibition.
Photos that the american photographer shot during 30 years and today, thanks to Lavazza, who sponsored the exhibition are in Venice inside the Arsenale exhibition area, just on the other side of the canal of the Art Biennale. The photos are showing 12 different countries (Brazil, Burma, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Peru, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Vietnam, Yemen) connected by 1 element: Coffee. together with the exhibition is coming the new book of Steve McCurry that’s showing his coffee work: the book is published by Phaidon.
The exhibition, curated by the italian designer Fabio Novembre, is open every day until the 8th of November (10am-6pm).
