When I was fifteen I was in a conversation with an older photographer where I told a white lie of sorts. I said that he should not be shooting digital and instead needed to shoot film, when queried about my skills I told him I had been shooting since I was eight. In reality I didn’t know shit, I don’t think at 15 I could even load film correctly. I guess I just liked the film aesthetic and knew it even at that point.

I began to shoot and buy cameras when I was 19, starting with simple polaroid cameras and working my way up (hell I only bought my own first proper 35mm camera 5 months ago) shooting all the sheer retardation that happens around me.
