Venezia FC is ready to kick off a new season

[dropcap type=”1″]T[/dropcap]his year is going to be different, the italian Serie B is very competitive, but the team is ready to train hard during this summer to be ready for the first game at the end of august.
Many rumors involved the big star of the team, we are speaking obviously about Filippo Inzaghi, the coach of the club. At the beginning Verona and Sassuolo, both team playing the Serie A this year, tried to convince the former Milan player to join their club, but at the end Inzaghi, which has a contract for 1 year more with Venezia FC, decided to stay in Venice. Also the national Team of Albania, after the head coach De Biasi left, tried to hire Filippo Inzaghi, but despite all the voices and the rumors, nothing changed.

The new team is ready to start the pre-training today at the Taliercio Training Facility camp, before moving to the mountains in Sappada to start the first part of the summer training. The team is going to fly to Detroit as a friendly match with the Detroit City FC has been organized for the 18th of July. Then back home to Venice for the second part of the training. Today we have been at the Hotel Bologna in Mestre, to meet the team and to take them some photographs. These are so far the players for the 2017-2018 season.

Not in the list Davide Facchin, Nicola Sambo, Leonardo Galli, Alessandro Malomo, Paolo Pellicanò, Giuseppe Caccavallo, Nicola Ferrari and Loris Tortori. For them the Venezia FC Sport Director Giorgio Perinetti is looking for a new destination,as the club decided to send them on loan or to sell the players to another club.

The Staff of Filippo Inzaghi is still the same of last season, thanks also to the great results, winning in 2017 the Lega Pro and the Italian Lega Pro Cup.
