From the 15th to 18th of November 2012, Paris Photo will take at the Gran Palais (Paris). This year the event will show the work of 128 exhibitors – including 36 newcomers and 23 specialists of photography books – with a renewed international selection about the works and artists.

The programme will be divided in four sections:

-recent acquisitions (an exhibition by big institutions like LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), Huis Marseille (Amsterdam), Fotomuseum Winterthur (Suisse )

– Private collections – an exhibition of private collections by the Achieves of Modern Conflict called “Collected Shadows”

– Open Book – a tribute to the art of photography books

– Paris Photo Aperture Foundation Photobook Awards – a competition directed by an international jury divided into 2 categories: “First photobook” and “Photobook of the Year”

Furthermore there will be exhibitions by two partners of Paris Photo, Acqua by Giorgio Armani and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
