Interview with Julian Schratter
Julian Schratter has a garden in Brooklyn, a family in the Bay Area, a mission in Milan, and an obsession with capturing moments, energy, and memories from all and in-between.
He began taking photos in 2009 but prior to had dabbled in all types of expression. In 2010 the camera has become a completion of his being whether it is strapped around his neck, hanging from a chain, or inked in his skin. At the end of each day he remains humbled with the idea of self surviving and taking photos of his future children. It helps remind him that most of it is really bullshit and he himself really ain't shit without the family, friends, and followers. 2011 till infinity he will take photos because it makes him feel good its just a plus if the photos make you feel good too.
