François Coquerel (born in 1980) is a photographer who currently lives and works in Paris, France.
He’s currently working for american, french and british newspapers and magazines,
and was in charge of the BBC publicity pictures on different shows such as Who Do You Thing You Are?,
The Restaurant or Design For Life With Philippe Starck.
He also works on his own projects and series, regularly exhibited in international art shows.
Serie title: cuzion-gargilesse (2009)
Those photographss are taken from the “cuzion/gargilesse” serie, which takes place around those two villages, in the region of Berry (France), a piece of countryside familiar to me. I was very interested into exploring the stillness of a place dedicated to vacations as well as a family own privacy.
These images are so quaint.
