Established 12 years ago, the BKLYN Designs is one of the first exhibitions of creative industry that gives its contribution to Brooklyn economy. Among the participants you may find designers, architects, artists, but also builders, developers and educators, whose efforts are focused only on celebrating the iconic style and vibrant community of the quarter.

There were many creative collaborations with companies based in Brooklyn, like the one with Jill Malek who oversaw wallcoverings for Tattly Parlor, Situ Studio and Studio Maiarelli that have enriched the show with their imagination and fantasy.
Dwell has been one of the key sponsors of BKLYN Designs, which, in addition to having organized a visit in the five most incredible private residences in Brooklyn during the Home Tours, has also created a pop-up store in which they exhibited the works of young designers and artists the neighbourhood.
Another important element of support to the event was the ADFF Pop-Up Cinema, where the Architecture & Design Film Festival presented a series of short films that focused on architecture and design.
