Gonzalo Guigou graduated from CDI, the Fashion Center of Uruguay’s University. His graduation project, a collection called “Tan simple, tan esencial” (So simple, so esential) has been published several times in the last couple of years, both in various uruguayan and interational boots.
In 2011 he was invited to participate in the Fashion Week of Montevideo (Moweek) as the lead fashion designer, to develop the institutional look of the event.
He has recently launched his own personal brand “Gonzalo Guigou” as an independent fashion designer.
At the moment, alternates his work at Buenavista Consultores, a company that provides fashion insight and trends to latin the america market, as well as a professor in Medio Montevideo, a fashion institute in Montevideo, Uruguay.
