Marta Fornari was born in Rieti, Italy, in 1986. She studied at the
Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila and at the l’ecole supérieure des Arts Appliques et du Textile in Roubaix,France.
This project tries to keep present the memory of the earthquake in L’Aquila, telling with pictures what the words can’t tell. A history of interiors and exteriors, where the human presence and the daily acts are apparently absent. Present absences of an altered and surreal reality which takes shape in the memory of a house, a courtyard, a street.
