Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain , the 2016 edition of the well-established contemporary art fair, confirmed once again its significant position among the world’s leading art fairs in a continuously growing art market.

For this, the 43rd edition, FIAC showcased a total of 186 galleries from 27 countries, representing more than 4,000 artists from all over the world. With 72,080 visits to the Grand Palais, 12,198 collectors, institutions, and art world professional attendees, the international art fair announced solid sales in all sectors.

The galleries were carefully selected by a commission who confidently took the final decision based on various criteria: the history of the gallery, the artists represented by the galleries, the quality and consistent presence in art exhibitions and finally, the exhibition proposal for FIAC and its coherence with art professional ethics.

After an intense visit at fair, here are some of the highlights of artists and gallery booths I selected this year.
