About the project:

Shanghai is a metropolis of 23 million inhabitants and a new global economic pole. Known as the Chinese symbole of economic growth, modernization and urbanization, China’s biggest city reforms are massive. Working-class areas are being destroyed and replaced by large-scale projects. This headlong rush produced more than 50 million vacant housing units in the Middle Kingdom.

Rate increases cast a housing bubble and exacerbate social tensions as millions of Chinese cannot afford the market price.
