“No more big ships in Venice!” That was the message of the demonstration that took place yesterday in Venice, starting from Piazzale Roma, the bus station of the city until the Port of the city, with the idea of blocking the access to the cruise ships for few hours. These big ships have been always a problem in Venice, between those who want to have them crossing the city and taking millions of tourists to Venice, and those like most of the venetians who are asking since years to move the big ships out of the Giudecca Canal.
