Paris Photo 2016 report 2 by Zoe Zizola

This year the Paris photo took place in the Grand Palais Paris, near the Champs Elisées in the centre of the city. The big and suggestive place looks amazing, and the organization of the art fair was surprisingly good. By Zoe Zizola

It was easy to find around the fair the most renowned photographers such as Sebastião Salgado, Antoine d’Agata, Anders Petersen, Alex Majoli and Stanley Green presenting their projects and signing their books. It was very interesting to discover emergent photographers on the go.

The place was unfortunately too crowded and confused at times. The ticket prices were also maybe too high (especially considering it can only be used for one entrance). In the middle of all projects one day was not enough to watch all the work of the artists the right amount of attention.

In the end, the Paris photo is more suitable for whoever has the intention to buy some nice pictures. The main purpose of the fair was to sell photos, walk along the Grand Palais and talk about photography, instead of thinking carefully about the photos.
