Audra Locicero is a photographer and recent graduate of New College of Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Anthropology.

This body of work was taken while volunteering in Rwanda with the nonprofit Rwanda Sustainable Families in the summer of 2012.

These photos represent time spent with the beneficiaries of the organization, the majority of whom are survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The moments captured offer a rare and candid glimpse into daily life in Rwanda’s rural villages.
