This series of drawings combine a diversity of formats: portrait, comic and abstraction and the thread that unites them is a sort of concern about existence and society.
There is a “Kafkian” way of perceiving the way things function in the world and the place that the individual occupies in the middle of all that madness. Ink, graphic pen color and paper are the tools. Loneliness, love, thirst of power and resistance are the ideas and the motivations.

IÑAKI OÑATE was born in 1988 in Quito, Equador. He studied in Buenos Aires film Production, and he’s still living in the argentinian capital since then.
