The AW15 collection was inspired by the term ‘ luxury in motion’. In this collection, DAKS has calibrated with motorbike wheels, in which to celebrate the great iconic story of English motorcycling. Bikers’ gloves, jackets and shoes made this collection so edgy.Different variations of colours and prints were used in the collection such as deep red, purple, Prince of Wales check, tulip print, and of course biker black. This collection was featuring some strong masculine’s style such as double-breasted jacket and matching crop trousers; yet, still staying feminine. You can see in the last look, a feminine floor length shirdtdress in deep autumn colours. This is the dress to die for.
Overall, I sensed a 70’s vibe was implied in this collection as well as on the models and the choice of music.
