David Crompton is a visual artist and graphic designer based in Vancouver, Canada. Since graduating from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 1999, his work has screened and exhibited internationally in galleries, festivals and media channels including SXSW, Transmediale, The European Media Art Festival and CBC Radio 3. Crompton’s work has been included in the collection of the Marshall McLuhan Salon at the Canadian Embassy in Berlin and his projects have been awarded grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the BC Arts Council. In 2013 he published his first collection of photographs “Where I’m From.” A second publication is in the works and slated for release in 2014. He currently lives in False Creek with his wife and two children.
