Tanya Crail has been capturing lifestyle photography in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and Seattle for the past four years. Throughout the length for her self-taught career, she has been working with film photography almost exclusively. Her work is an archival documentation of stories seen through the perspective of a young, emerging artist.
The following series, Demure, is a collection of photos that share underlying themes in Vancouver’s nightlife scene such as freedom of expression, self-exploration, anticipation of nostalgia, and sexuality.
