LFW: C. J. YAO SS16

C. J. YAO presented her unique and well anticipated SS16 collection ‘3721’ on 21st September during London Fashion Week. The concept of ‘3721’ was inspired by one of the Chinese saying ‘I didn’t think too much into it and just went ahead and did it. The collection is very youthful and simple, a lot denim on denim, college casual wear. The details of each piece were extremely thoughtful and playful.

C.J.YAO also collaborated with Danish household shoe brand ECCO to launch her SS16 collection. The collaboration has shown importance between C.J.YAO and the brand as well as the quality, technical development to produce more comfortable and elegant shoes. Overall, I would describe the collection of ‘back to college’ with details, very youthful and playful.
