Piaggio has recently launched the new model, the Vespa 946, whose name is taken from the year 1946, when the company was founded and produced the first scooter. The study of the design and technology of this model lasted six years: launched in May in preview, it will be available on the world market within few days.

Piaggio wanted to achieve, as a tribute to the founder, the most exclusive and valuable model and technologically advanced ever produced in the 67-year history of the most popular and famous scooter in the world. Vespa 946, in fact, has a shell made of steel and, for the first time, in aluminium.

Fundamentals are the technological details: the Full LED headlamp and double-disc braking system Abs, that bring the new model to the maximum possible security. Vespa 946 is available in two engine variants: with a propeller of 125 cc or 150 cc.
